Taking care of your eyebrows and eyelashes

Isn’t it amazing that all we care about recently are thick eyebrows and fuller eye-lashes to an extent that we cover million dollar bills on products that claim to give you desired full definition results? However we are forgetting that to own that we should at first know how to take care of our eyebrows and lashes to give them life. So, today I will share some tried and tested home remedies to get fuller eyelashes and thick eyebrows.


It is important to check how your body is fit, or other means – in order to avoid allergic reactions, first apply oil (agent) on your wrist. If after 10-15 minutes you observe no itching, burning or other discomfort, it means you can try the procedures.

Coconut Milk and Castor oil

Take half spoon of coconut milk and castor oil each. Mix the ingredients really well.  Recommendable an empty mascara tube comes in handy. Make sure it is completely clean. Fill the mixture in the mascara tube and use it every night with the help of mascara wand.

  • use this mixture on your eyelashes and on your eye-brows on your night routine.

Coconut Oil and aloe vera gel

Take half spoon of coconut oil in a bowl and add sliced peels of one lemon in it. Keep this in a room temperature. For good results you are advised to let it blend for about 6 hours.

  • Apply this solution on your eyebrows overnight.

Egg Yolk

Beat and apply an egg yolk directly on your eye brows. Keep it for 20 minutes and then rinse off with cold water. Egg yolk improves hair follicle which eventually helps in eyebrow-growth.

  • Apply this on your eyebrows.

Olive oil

olive oil is known for hair treatment and it can also make your eye-lashes grow longer. Just apply one drop of olive oil on your eye-lashes before sleeping and keep it over-night. Wash off with cold water in the morning. It will make your eye-lashes fuller, thicker and will also add nice sheen to them.

Be sure to cleanse your lashes daily with a gentle cleanser. Baby shampoo is a great alternative — it is gentler. Avoid excessive rubbing of the eyes or picking off mascara.It’s also important to avoid sharing your makeup with others to avoid cross contamination. Over plucking is a big No-No! Also avoid the use of too many products on your brows since they contain chemicals that may be harmful to the skin or lead to brow dandruff.
